Upgrading from BCB2007 to Rad Studio
(too old to reply)

I'd been advised to upgrade from BCB2007 to Rad Studio. It was my
understanding that I would then have a Delphi personality in addition to
my current BCB personality. I used the download process to do this.
It didn't seem to take long, and I don't seem to have any delphi stuff.
When I try to compile a dpr project, nothing happens.

The fact that nothing happens is different from before I did the
download. When I tried to compile before the download/install I got an
error.

Was I mistaken, and just wasted a bunch of money?

That's correct. I assume you installed what you downloaded?

You should have received a key that enables the new bits you downloaded,
and that's the key you would need to use instead of your old BCB2007
one.

What SKU of BCB2007 did you have before?

You may want to log a support case if the above doesn't help at all.
